03-20-12 Update
Thanks to all members of the EPAC community for their continued support of Friends of EPAC.
1. With your support 14 baskets were created for the Devin Spears Scholarship fund raffle. This year $1,174.00 in tickets were sold. Great job to all who donated baskets, helped sell tickets and supported the Scholarship fund by purchasing tickets.
2. Under the leadership of Stacy Ernst, real and chocolate roses were sold during the recent Kids Theater Workshop production of Beauty and the Beast resulting in $540.00 net profit. Great job Stacy and all who volunteered their time to help sell the roses during the sale.
3. The Barnes and Noble Book Fair held on March 3rd raised $498.00 for the Friends of EPAC. During the Fair the performers from Beauty and the Beast performed resulting in greater awareness of EPAC and our program.
UPCOMING EVENTS, NEEDS AND GOALS:
A. The next Friends of EPAC Project is to purchase a 70" Big Screen TV for the EPAC Café. Due to recent fundraisers we have $1,800 on hand and hope to be able to buy and install the TV in the near future.
B. Summer Raffle.
This will be our 4th annual summer raffle which has raised substantial sums for Friends of
EPAC. Our goal this year is to increase the number of prizes from 5 to 10 and to have all prizes in place by June 30th so we can sell tickets at all summer events at EPAC with the drawing being held on the last day of the Kids Summer Program.
C. Needed-Artistic person to help design posters and other items to market our events, sales, etc. on a as needed basis
D. Future Wine Tasting and Silent Auction.
Our last wine tasting and silent auction in October 2010 was a great success but requires a lot of work. Volunteers interested please contact Kevin Yeager.
E. YOUR IDEAS-We are open to all suggestions for future fundraising and other events that help support the Endicott Performing Arts Center. If you are interested in volunteering for one or more Friends of EPAC events, please e-mail Kevin Yeager at
